Work

Had a great conference call with my boss and co-workers yesterday after I had finished my blog entry. Of course it would be suicide to mention any thing about what was said on a public blog, but these conversations just make me realize how lucky I am go have a kickass Account Executive and great campus reps to work with at Stanford. I really think that we have tools needed to get Stanford on the map this year as far as educational sales are concerned.

Went to see The Brothers Grimm tonight. It was pretty mediocre as far as movies were concerned. But hey, it was an excuse to go out and do something. Since I don't have too much time left here I guess I better enjoy it while I can.

On the phone right now with Laura... most folks that read this should already know what that's about. So 'nuff said. Lets just say my night isn't complete until I can hear her voice.

FInalizing law school picks. . . So far we got Harvard, Yale, Berkeley, Georgetown and George Washington (I always wanted to go to DC), University of Virginia, Wililam and Mary, and Cornell. I might add another school for safety reasons, but that really depends on my LSAT scores.

Pretty tired right now.... I haven't been getting much sleep, and the shitload of construction that's going on right outside my backyard isn't really helping me in the morning. So I should try and get some sleep soon.

Prepare

I just got back from Costco with some goodies purchased for my enjoyment. I picked up X-Files Season 5 (I have seasons one and two, but I picked up five because its the only one they had and it was fucking 50% off what I paid for the first two seasons), some cooking pans for when I go back to school and a few other things that'll help me out.

But what a minute, cooking pots you say? Yessir. I'll be living in Mirrielees next year as the Residential Computer Consultant for the second floor. For the uninitiated or non-Stanford folks, Mirrielees is the undergraduate apartment complex on campus. Its four floors, and houses about 400 - 500 students in two room triples (that include a small living room, bathroom, and kitchen), or in quads. One of the benefits (or restrictions, depending on your view) is that there are no cafeterias nearby, and since every apartment is supplied with a kitchen, its expected that some cooking will probably take place. For me, I'll most likely just pick up a lot of salad or stuff at the store and not mess with the other stuff too much, but you never know.

The Apple job has been going great and I'll be starting on my second school year with the team. It looks like that I'll probably be pulling the reigns somewhat with the rest of the campus reps. There really isn't any thing to say except that its good money and I've been having a great time working with my AE and the folks over at the computer store. Even if I don't get a job with Apple after I'm done with education, it'll still be great.

Thining about going to law school... got a bunch of places lined up on the east coast that I'd like to apply to. Also, I'm taking the LSATs in October which will pretty much be the deciding factor in where I'll get to go because my GPA is too average to help me out (3.3)

More to come, but packing soon!

I'm thinking about starting up this ancient blog one last time as I enter into my final year of college. Its been there since the beginning, and I'd like to see it through to the end. So, hopefully I'll start updating more, and if there's any one in the woodwork that has me on their must-check-blog list, let me know 'cause I'd like to know who's still around.

Things are always different, but that doesnt' mean that's bad.

And yes, I'm more happy than I've ever been. I can't wait for the future, and I love the present.
