End Game

Once more I've neglected y'all, and once more apologies all around. Lets have a beer and talk about it sometime.

But for now, its time to complain about random shit, mainly the fact that I'm sleepy as hell, and I have so much work to do over the next few weeks that I don't know if I have enough time outside of procrastination to do it all. I have a revision of a paper due in two weeks along with a poetry anthology. I also have a revision of a my shit story that I wrote for fiction due in a week and a half, and I have a research paper for Comm due then as well. Lots of crazy shit to think about. But yeah, that's how I'm going to fail on the school front! :D

Special dinner has come and gone, and that meant lots of work for me and my budds. Movie night was a bust tonight because the pirated DVD I borrowed doesn't like to play on normal DVD players that I hook up to projectors, so bleh to that shit.

And I'm going to take a sleeping pill now because I just want to pass out. So laters!

Control

You know I've got to be really, really busy if I haven't even had time to even give a mild reflection on the current state of affairs here at the farm. I'm really sorry once again y'all, its just that I've been completely swamped with work and other things that I simply don't find time and forget to update here.

What exactly is keeping me busy? Let's try just having finished a 17 page story for Fiction writing class, and now for each class, I have to read two other stories made by the other students as well as comment on them and write up one page commentaries on how I felt about them. In addition to that, there's the usual reading of good fiction like Kafka and such, and then in a few weeks I have to do a presentation in front of the class for a specific story, and then I have another 20 page story due at the beginning of december. And that's just one class.

For my other English course, I don't have much due this week (thank god) I just have to keep up with the poems and I have a rough draft of a paper due on Monday. Then most likely the finished draft a week from then. After that, I just have my poetry anthology to do and I'm done.

My two Comm classes consist of a fuckton of reading for each one, and one more midterm (or final if you put it that way) in each class and a big research paper in one of them. Pretty simple, but hard and busy stuff.

Also, I've been trying to do some KZSU stuff as well. I got 12 staffing hours so far, (15 to apply for a show) and I'm working pretty hard at that stuff. I hosted a mini radio show a few weeks ago and afterwards I went out and bought an external HD so that way I can carry *all* my VG music on there for the next time I land a show. Also been doing lots of engineering for sports; trying to get that stuff done right.

And on top of all this, there's the staff work to be done here at wonderful Phi Sig. I've enacted a weekly movie night that hasn't been too successful, but I'd like to continue doing it any ways. I've manged to acquire a projector a few times to pull that off, so its really cool. We have special dinner coming up, and a few more mini events, and after that we'll be done for staff stuff for the quarter.

I have to say, its all gone by extremly fast so far. I can't believe I'm already almost a third through the school year. Scary shit.

I'm also thinking of taking the LSATs next year, might be fun and I wanna see if I have what it takes to enter into some kind of law school, even if its not exactly a prestigeous one. But law might be fun, so I wanna check it out.

Finally, HALO 2!!!! Picked it up midnight Tuesday morning, took it home, hooked it up to a projector, and played 'till 4am with my RA on co-op mode. Last night, I discovered the extreme joy of X-box live multiplayer, so I'm absolutely hooked.
