American University
There's something to be said about the idea of traveling across the nation to a unviersity at Washington DC. I've always wanted tog o, but I knew that because of money and travel issues, it was probably something that would have to be undertaken on my time.
Well, it would appear that it's my time now. American offers a great international law program and is the first in the nation in trial advocacy. While I have no intention of being a superior trial lawyer, the international law program does appeal to me somewhat. My goal is IP Corporate, but if I can incorporate some aspects of international law in there, then perhaps I can do these things across the world instead of just only in America.
However, like most of problems in this situation, it's the distance that I'm afraid of the most. I've never lived further than 350 miles from home due to Stanford, but if I go here then I'll be across the nation, which seems a little scary.
My goal is to go to the best school possible for me that I'm admitted to, and it seems like so far American is that school, but a decision still has to be made.
