Update
I figured I should probably post a mini-update here, seeing as how I haven't since I've been back at Stanford.
Yes, for all those that were wondering for some reason, I'm here, and I'm alive. The drive was uneventful except for the times when I wanted to fall asleep at the wheel. the first night there was spent unpacking a shitload of stuff and fending off bad arms and shoulders that got sore. The second day was a shitload of RCC training, combined with a lot more unpacking and even more sore joints on my body.
Today was the first day of my buddies Henry and Shammy being back in town, so after my RCC training I picked up Henry and we all went to the first row house session (I don't have to go to too many of these since I'm RCC and I get my own fun filled long days of training. Regardless, it was really fun, and I'll first house meeting was really kickass and full of laughs and creativity. I honestly believe these guys are some of the best people to have on staff for a house, and all our residents should be really lucky to have them. Not only are they my best friends, but they're good, hard workers, and I know that somehow they'll be able to keep me in line, and hopefully I can steal a bit of their work ethic for my own purposes.
As for RCC training, well a lot of has been very useful and informative, and a bit of it seemed trifle and uneccesary. However, Whatever comes, comes and I'll just keep it at that in regards to information given and received. One thing I will say is I never thought I'd have such an interesting grasp on the backbone of the computer and internet networks on campus. Its absolutely amazing sometimes how all this is kept up.
Any ways, its late here, and I'm kind of tired. More training tomorrow at 10am, so I'm out for tonight, see ya!
